They apply standard, published conventions — the international Morse code table, the NATO phonetic alphabet, published amateur-radio band plans, and a simplified callsign-prefix reference — to the values you enter. Nothing on the Service is a substitute for guidance from your national radio authority or licensing body. Band edges, callsign allocations, and licensing rules vary by country and change over time; before you rely on a result for anything that affects your amateur radio license, your equipment, or an actual transmission, confirm it against your national radio authority.

DitDash provides free, browser-based calculators and educational resources, including:

• A WPM and Farnsworth timing calculator for Morse practice
• A NATO phonetic alphabet converter
• A semaphore signal reference and message-timing estimator
• A callsign format checker and prefix-to-country lookup

• Guides, explainers, and reference content on signaling and ham radio
